Lendi Institute of Engineering and Technology organised the AICTE–VAANI national workshop at the campus in Vizianagaram
Visakhapatnam: As part of the valedictory session of the three-day AICTE–VAANI national workshop organised by Lendi Institute of Engineering and Technology in Vizianagaram, faculty members and researchers from various colleges shared their experiences and insights into modern technologies.
Neelima Devi Chinta spoke on AI applications in Mechanical Engineering, Nallamilli Venkata Reddy discussed the applications of humanoid robots, and M. Eswaran highlighted XR technologies and their significance in industrial processes. Their sessions helped participants gain insights into modern technological advancements.
D Subrahmanyam spoke about quality control and the use of advanced technologies in casting processes, Satish Pujari highlighted the importance of AI and machine learning in smart manufacturing and V. Pandu Ranga discussed future trends in robotics, automation, and human–robot collaboration in industry 4.0. Their sessions enhanced participants’ understanding of advanced manufacturing technologies.
Principal VV Rama Reddy; Vice Principal, T Haribabu; programme coordinator, Satish Pujari; and co-coordinator, I Anil Kumar, said that the workshop would support future research, the development of innovative projects, and stronger collaboration between industry and academic institutions.
Approximately 54 faculty members from various colleges participated in the workshop. The faculty team of the department of mechanical engineering at Lendi College played a key role in the successful organisation of the programme.
