Hanumakonda: Saddula Bathukamma celebrations were held with traditional fervour at Windermere Ranch Middle School in San Ramon, America, under the auspices of Women Empowerment of Telugu Association (WETA).

Kodad MLA Uttam Padmavati Reddy attended the event as chief guest and joined Telugu women in playing Bathukamma. The celebrations were organised by WETA founder and chairman Hanumandla Jhansi Rajender Reddy, with Telugu people and women participating in large numbers. The venue came alive with colourful floral arrangements, traditional attire, Bathukamma songs and dances.

Despite living abroad, Telangana women celebrated the festival to preserve their cultural heritage and pass on traditions to future generations. The event also strengthened unity among Telugu women in America. WETA continues to promote women’s empowerment and Telangana culture through traditional festivals, showcasing the state’s rich heritage on an international platform.
