Hanumakonda: Vardhannapet MLA and retired IPS officer KR Nagaraju launched the CM Breakfast Scheme at PM Sri Zilla Parishad Girls’ High School in Hasanparthi on Wednesday, along with District Collector Chahat Bajpai.

Nagaraju said the state government was giving top priority to students’ health and education.

Under the scheme, students were provided nutritious breakfast such as idli, millets, puri and upma as per the daily menu.

He urged teachers and parents to work together to increase enrolment, prevent dropouts and ensure regular attendance. He said the Hasanparthi school would be developed as a Telangana Public School with Rs. 6.80 crore.

He also said a sports school would be established on 35 acres with facilities for hockey, boxing and other sports.

Collector Bajpai advised students to attend school regularly and make use of workbooks and Khan Academy resources. The MLA and Collector served breakfast to students and later joined them for the meal.
