Disha Committee reviews welfare,development schemes in Hanumakonda
Hanumakonda: The District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (Disha) meeting was held at the Hanumakonda District Collectorate on Thursday under the chairmanship of Warangal MP Dr. Kadiyam Kavya. The meeting reviewed the implementation and progress of various Central and State government welfare and development schemes in the district.
District MLAs Kadiyam Srihari and K.R. Nagaraju, District Collector Chahat Bajpai and senior officials from various departments attended the meeting.
Dr. Kavya reviewed the progress of schemes department-wise and sought details of targets achieved, benefits reaching beneficiaries and challenges faced in implementation. Officials briefed the committee on programmes in education, healthcare, agriculture, drinking water, sanitation, roads and irrigation.
The committee also discussed measures to improve coordination among departments and ensure that government schemes reach eligible beneficiaries effectively. Officials were directed to address implementation issues and expedite development works across the district.
