Hanumakonda: Hanumakonda District Additional Collector and Tourism Department Nodal Officer N. Ravi urged people to make yoga a part of their daily routine for better health and mental peace.
He said regular yoga practice can help reduce stress and anxiety caused by modern lifestyles while improving physical and mental well-being.
A yoga programme was organised at the Hanumakonda District Collectorate premises on Friday by the District Tourism Department as part of World Tourism Day celebrations on September 27. Ravi, who attended as the chief guest, performed yoga asanas along with officials, yoga practitioners and students.
Speaking at the event, Ravi highlighted the benefits of practising yoga regularly and encouraged people to incorporate it into their daily lives. District Tourism Officer Shivaji, NSS Coordinator Srinivas, AYUSH officials, staff, volunteers and students participated in the programme.
