Lecture on ‘English & Tourism’ held at Pingle Govt College for Women
Hanumakonda (Waddepally): The Department of History at Pingle Government College for Women, Waddepally is conducting a specialised Certificate Course in Tourism for its students. As part of this course, a special lecture was organised here on Monday, featuring Prof Dr E Ram Bhaskar Raju from Kakatiya Government College. He delivered an extensive and insightful talk on the topic “English for Tourism.”
Prof Ram Bhaskar Raju emphasised the pivotal role of English language proficiency and focused deeply on ‘Heritage Interpretation and Communication’.
The engaging session was received with immense satisfaction and enthusiasm by the students. The programme was presided over by the college Principal, Prof B Chandra Mouli, and co-chaired by Vice-Principal Suhasini. The event saw active participation from college faculty members and a large number of students and made the programme a grand success.
