Naini highlights plans for minorities’ welfare

Hanumakonda: Warangal West MLA Naini Rajender Reddy on Tuesday presented the allotment document for a 0.25-acre site earmarked for the construction of a Shadikhana for Muslim minorities to religious leaders and local elders.

After inspecting the site along with minority representatives, Naini said the location had been selected after considering future requirements and with the consent of all concerned. He said an earlier site had been allotted for the project, but technical assessments indicated possible problems with construction due to soil conditions at the location.

The MLA said the new site was chosen to facilitate the construction of a Shadikhana with better facilities. He alleged that some people were politically criticising the decision and spreading misinformation that the Congress government had cancelled the earlier allotment.

Naini said the new site had been inspected for road connectivity, construction feasibility and other requirements. He assured that the government was committed to minority welfare and promised to coordinate with officials to expedite construction. Kazipet Dargah Peethadhipathi Kusuru Pasha, Aziz Khan, Ajit Ullah and other minority and Congress leaders were present.
