Hanumakonda: Dr Pallepadu Damodar of Hanumakonda has been appointed as the National Secretary of the Rail Yatri Welfare Society, an organisation recognised by the Government of India and the Government of Uttar Pradesh. National President Bhup Singh Pal formally issued the appointment letter on October 5.
Damodar will hold the post until August 1, 2029. Following his appointment, he said he would work in accordance with the organisation’s rules to protect the rights of railway passengers and help resolve their grievances. He also said he would work with his team to create greater awareness among passengers about railway rules, facilities and their rights.
Damodar expressed his gratitude to National President Bhup Singh Pal for entrusting him with the responsibility. Several prominent personalities congratulated him and wished him success in his new role.
