Warangal: The Congress will win the ensuing elections to the Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation (GWMC), DCC President Naini Rajender Reddy said.
Addressing the party cadres here on Tuesday, he said that the TRS, which is at the helm of affairs of the GWMC, has failed to deliver in its five-year term.
With the elections around the corner, the TRS will come to people again to hoodwink them with their deceptive promises. "The TRS leaders mastered the art of convincing people before the voting," Reddy said, cautioning the people not to fall to their guiles. Referring to the party's preparation for the elections to the civic body, the DCC chief told the cadres to gear up to teach a lesson to the TRS. In another party programme, Reddy said that people no longer believe in the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and they are ready to dump
the TRS. Leaders Naga Someshwar, Kanuganti Sekhar, MSK Babji, Banka Sarala Yadav and Banka Sampath Yadav were among others present.
