People must compare devpt under BRS and Cong rule: MLA Naini
Hanumakonda: Warangal West MLA NainiRajender Reddy has urged people to compare the development undertaken in Kazipet during the ten years of BRS rule with the works carried out under the Congress government over the past three years.
Speaking to the media on Wednesday, after laying foundation stones for development works in the 47th and 62nd divisions of Kazipet, he said nearly 98 per cent of the works undertaken within his jurisdiction had been completed. The MLA said election promises were not limited to laying foundation stones, but were being implemented through actual development.
He stressed that roads, drainage and infrastructure in SC colonies, slums and backward areas were being given priority.
He said road development from Somidi to Kazipet Police Station was clearly visible and tenders worth Rs. 50 lakh to Rs. 60 lakh had been completed for remaining roads in the 47th Division SC colony.
Work would begin within ten days, he added. Regarding the proposed Kazipet bus stand, Naini said he had approached the District Collector for a comprehensive inquiry into the land required for its construction. He also sought investigations into land permissions and alleged irregularities at Kazipet junction.
The MLA said 42 people had recently received houses and assured that infrastructure in slum areas would continue to improve. He urged people to assess development objectively, stating that they were the final judges.
