SP distributes ‘TG Veer Family Cards’ to police martyr families
Khanapur: SP G Janaki Sharmila distributed TG Veer Family Cards to the families of police martyrs at the Nirmal District Police Office on Friday.
She explained that these cards and the related portal will help the families of police martyrs easily access welfare benefits provided by the government and police department.
The cards record details of services and welfare schemes available to the families, while also allowing them to track the progress of their applications.
Through this card, information about financial assistance, pensions, compassionate appointments, allocation of plots or housing sites, and other eligible welfare benefits will be systematically documented, enabling families to know the status of their entitlements. The Telangana government designed this initiative to ensure faster and more transparent services.
SP Janaki Sharmila emphasised that the main purpose of the TG Veer Family Card is to maintain centralized records of the martyrs’ service details, family information, and welfare benefits, thereby delivering efficient and transparent support.
