The most-awaited moment is here… Finally, the makers of India’s best blockbuster of the year RRR have applied for the Oscars 2023 in the general category. They also shared the official statement on social media and confirmed the news…
The makers have submitted the movie in total 14 categories… They are:
• Best Motion Picture - D.V.V. Danayya • Best Director - S.S. Rajamouli • Best Original Screenplay - Story By V. Vijayendra Prasad • Best Actor N.T. Rama Rao Jr. and Ram Charan • Best Supporting Actress - Alia Bhatt • Best Supporting Actor - Ajay Devgn • Best Visual Effects V. Srinivas Mohan (VFX Supervisor) • Best Original Song - NaatuNaatu • Best Original Score- MM Keeravani
Apart from these categories, the makers also sent their entries in the Best Costume Design, Best Production Design, Best Editing, Best Makeup and Hairstyling categories…
Earlier, all the movie buffs expected that RRR will be the official entry to Oscars 2023 from the country but the jury selected 'Chello Show' (Last Film Show).
RRR movie had Ram CharanTeja and Junior NTR as the lead actors along with Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn and Olivia in other prominent roles.
It is directed by SS Rajamouli and is produced by DVV Danayya under his home banner.
The movie broke all the past records and bagged a total of 1200-1300 crores at the box office!
