After the conclusion of their Down Under tour, Team India return home to take on England in a full-fledged series, starting from Feb. 5: 4 Tests, 5 T20Is, and 3 ODIs.

According to the men’s schedule 2018-23 released by the ICC two years back, Afghanistan could tour India in March for 3 ODIs.
April-May 2021
The 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is expected to be played between April and May. The previous season was staged in the UAE due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but the tournament can return to India in 2021 if the situation is in control, the BCCI chief had earlier said.
June-July 2021
After the conclusion of the IPL, India is scheduled to tour Sri Lanka for a three-match ODI series. The Indian team is expected to extend their stay and participate in the Asia Cup, where they’ll be the defending champions and will lock horns against their arch-rivals Pakistan after a long gap of two years.
July 2021
After the Sri Lanka tour, India have the Zimbabwe tour in their books for a limited-overs series. The tour was initially supposed to be played in 2020, but got postponed by a year due to the pandemic.
August-September 2021
After hosting England at home at the beginning of 2021, India will head to the UK to take on the English side for a five-match Test series, starting in August. The Tests in England are expected to be one of the biggest challenges Team India have in 2021.
October 2021
India are scheduled to host South Africa ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021. The series will comprise three T20Is and ODIs.
October-November 2021
India will host the ICC T20 World Cup and will start as one of the favoruites in the tournament.
November-December 2021
After the T20 World Cup, India lock horns against New Zealand at home in two Tests and three T20Is.
December 2021
India will end the year by touring South Africa for three Tests and three T20Is.
