Hyderabad student contacted family hours before being shot in US
Within one and a half week, the middle aged couple Srihari and Rupa Bhavani has lost their son after he left home to US for higher studies. 23 year old Sai Kiran joined Atlantis University in Miami but unfortunately in an unexpected tragedy, was shot by a gang who came to snatch his iPhone.

His childhood friend N Mahesh stated that Sai Kiran was living with one of their friends along with 10 other students from Hyderabad in the same building and was happy about the university. Sai Kiran’s uncle, Sravan Kumar shared that he frequently called his parents and a few hours before the incident also; he had called at around 12.15 on Saturday night.
After the tragic turn of events, Sai Kiran’s parents are waiting for their son’s body to arrive from Florida. Although his family is not sure when the body will arrive in Hyderabad but they have sought government help to bring the body while his friends from Florida are also making arrangements to dispatch the body soon.
