After original producer Rajkumar backed out of the project following financial issues, actor Sai Kumar has stepped in to monitor the production activities of ‘Garam’. Starring his son Aadi in the lead role, the film, directed by Madan, is currently in post-production. Writer Sreenivas Gavireddy, who is making his debut as a director with Raj Tarun-starrer ‘Seethamma Andalu Ramayya Sitraalu’, has penned the film’s script.
Speaking at a press meet in Hyderabad on Saturday, Madan said, “The moment Sreenivas pitched the script, I decided to translate it into visuals. I was apprehensive whether he would part the script to me, but he was kind enough to do it. It is very difficult to love people who you hate and the film traverses it.”
Also starring Adah Sharma, Naresh, Brahmanandam, Tanikella Bharani, Nasser and Posani Krishna Murali in key roles, the film is expected to hit the cinemas next month.
