Despite her recent releases –‘Kick 2’ and ‘Bruce Lee’ – disappearing into thin air upon release, actress Rakul Preet Singh still seems to be a favourite for many top producers.

Despite her recent releases –‘Kick 2’ and ‘Bruce Lee’ – disappearing into thin air upon release, actress Rakul Preet Singh still seems to be a favourite for many top producers. The actress, who is currently awaiting the release of ‘Nannaku Prematho’, we hear, is likely to pair up with Bellamkonda Sreenivas up next. Her fee for the project is expected to touch Rs 1.5 crore, making her one of the highest paid T-town actresses. However, it appears that Rakul might face some stiff competition from Shruti Haasan for the part.
Producer Abhishek of Abhishek Pictures said when contacted, “We are in discussions with both Rakul and Shruti for the role but no one has been zeroed in on yet.” However, a source close to Rakul, presently busy with Boyapati’s ‘Sarainodu’ with Allu Arjun revealed, “It’s most likely that Rakul will bag the role. She is happy with her part and is keen to team up with Boyapati for the second time in a row.” The yet-to-be-titled flick will roll from April-end. - Nagaraj Goud
