Westin Educational Institution, which offers hotel and business management courses, organised a Business Show 2015 on Saturday. The event provided an opportunity for management students to flaunt their talents in curricular and extracurricular activities.

Speaking after inaugurating the event, Acharya Nagarjuna University (ANU) Vice-Chancellor K Viyyanna Rao said that the institution was a pioneer in the field of hotel and business management education in the State. “Participation in events like these helps students develop a positive attitude, besides enhancing their capabilities,” he said.

The fest had competitions like flower arrangement, coming up with the best business idea and other events. Prizes were given away to the top three winners in each event. The bike display proved to be a special attraction at the show. Harley Davidson, KTM and other bike manufacturers displayed their latest models at the event.

Students were wildly enthusiastic and didn’t want to miss out on the selfie clicking-spree. Cultural performances by students marked the end of the show. Westin Educational Institution chairman Durga Prasad Naidu, college principal P Chandrasekhar, Andhra Chambers of Commerce and Industry executive director Potluri Bhaskara Rao and faculty members were present.
