An enjoyable cultural fare
As part of the cultural programmes being held at Tummalapalli Kshetrayya Kalakshetram in the city during Krishna Pushkaralu, Y Sudarshan and his troupe presented `Ardhanareeswara’ mythological episode on Saturday.

The episode on the theme `Tripurasura Samharam’ by Lord Shiva was well received by the audience. A unique doll dance by Vijay of Visakhapatnam depicted mother’s love. `Khel Khatam Dukanam Bandh’, a playlet written by Veerla Vara Prasad and directed by R Vasudeva Rao, caused a laugh riot in the auditorium.
‘Jeevanmruthudu’ playlet was well enacted by Shivaprasad and his troupe of Ongole. Dornala Haribabu presented a few comedy skits. MVS Vaishnavi performed a Kuchipudi dance recital. The audience thoroughly enjoyed the variety in cultural performances.
