Vijayawada Railway Station senior ticket examiner M Manikanda Raj has been selected to represent Indian Railway Athletic team. Last year Manikanda Raj took Gold medal in 100 mts at 55th Senior Nationals held at Kolkata. Earlier he took Gold medal in 100 mts and 4x100 mts really at All Inda Railway Athletic Championship recently concluded at Tirchy.
Vijayawada Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Ashok Kumar, Additional DRM K Venugopal, Divisional Sports Officer and Sernior Divisional Mechanical Engineer J Pradeep Kumar, senior DCM Shifali and Sports Welfare Inspector N Arjunarao congratulated Railway athlet Manikanda Raj. They hope that he would get Fastest Man in the country.
