Siddhartha College of Arts and Sciences hosted an edutainment programme ‘Blitzkrieg’ at the auditorium on their premises on Wednesday. Students pursuing Computer Science took part in the event. JA Chowdary, the IT advisor to the State Government was present along with the Managing Director of Y Screens Entertainments, YV Rathnakumar and other dignitaries.

Chowdary said that the students should opt for next gen learning and come up with vibrant ideas. He also said that the digital literacy is creating wonders and the State Government is ready to start a digital university at Thirupati in the coming days. “The research and reinventions are to be done by students and make people to use technology in an effective way,” he said.

Rathnakumar said that the students have got ample of opportunities in the field of computer sciences and Blockgen technologies. “The future is completely of compact electronics with smart and digital aspects,” he said and added that the students should learn with practical education. The students participated in competitions and cultural activities at the event, which included paper presentations, poster designing, technical quiz, coding and decoding competitions.
