PB Siddhartha Arts and Science College National Cadet Corps (NCC) senior cadet captain P Janaki Pragna has been selected for a Youth Exchange Programme which will be held in November at Singapore. The college principal, Dr M Ramesh, said in a press release on Monday that she would represent Indian contingent.

The principal said that Pragna represented Andhra Pradesh team in Republic Day Parade, which was observed at New Delhi on January 26 and she has achieved gold medal. NCC Director General conducts interviews and selects the cadet for Youth Exchange Programme from those who participated in the Republic Day Parade, he said.

The principal said that Janaki Pragna was interviewed well and selected for Indian team. She would go to Singapore on November 6 and she would participate to present Indian culture, he added. Siddhartha Academy president N Venkateswarlu, secretary Lakshmana Rao, treasurer S Venkateswara Rao, college director V Babu Rao, convener PLN Prasad and NCC Navel unit officer A Venkatesh wished Janaki Pragna.
