Almost every manufacturer has now started adding dual front airbags as standard fitment on their vehicles. Honda had made airbags standard on the City few months back and now the automaker has made dual airbags standard on every trim of the Jazz premium hatchback. Due to this, prices of some variants have also increased by a marginal amount.

Earlier, dual front airbags were offered as standard only on the V, SV and VX variants. Now, even the base E and S variants come with dual front airbags. The addition of airbags to these two variants of the Jazz has resulted in a price hike of Rs 12,000 for both the variants. The Jazz is now priced from Rs 5.81-9.09 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The E MT variant costs Rs 5.81 lakh and Rs 7.11 lakh for petrol and diesel trims while the S MT variant costs Rs 6.44 lakh and Rs 7.80 lakh for the petrol and diesel trims respectively. The Honda Jazz is offered with 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines and it competes with the Maruti Baleno, Hyundai i20 Elite, Fiat Punto Evo and Volkswagen Polo.
