As part of the ‘Childline se Dosti’ week being organised by the Childline India Foundation (CIF) from November 14 to 20, HELP the  NGO has screened a film, Komal, in 15 schools and 6 child care centers in Prakasam district on Wednesday.

As part of the ‘Childline se Dosti’ week being organised by the Childline India Foundation (CIF) from November 14 to 20, HELP the NGO has screened a film, Komal, in 15 schools and 6 child care centers in Prakasam district on Wednesday.

Komal, the film is a very children friendly video, produced with an aim to create awareness on child abuse in parents and kids and explains the importance of it. M Kishore Kumar, the Childline 1098 district coordinator said that the helpline 1098 is being managed by the Childline India Foundation, a registered charity in 1999 and in partnership with the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Governemnt of India.

He said that during the campaigns like these awareness will be created among people on use of the toll free number 1098 and calling it to avail necessary assistance from authorities to rescue children from various problems. In the ‘Childline se Dosti’ campaign, a plethora of events and happenings are being carried out from November 14 to 20 in collaboration with the HELP, he added.
