He also said that heart attacks are one of the major causes of concern in India and the number of deaths caused by heart attacks can be reduced by taking precautionary measures and following a disciplined life. He added that the ECG and Angioplasty tests are very important for the patients.

Dr Dr Miroslaw Ferenc inaugurated the two day workshop on Complex Angioplasty at Andhra Hospital on Wednesday. Addressing the occasion, he said that good dietary habits, physical fitness and reducing stress are some important features for healthy life. Angioplasty is more advanced than Angiogram test and easy to operate.

Cardiac doctors from Krishna, Guntur, West Godavari and other districts attended the workshop which will continue on Thursday as well. Cardiologist Dr J Srimannarayana has said that Dr Miroslaw Ferenc will render services to the heart patients at the Heart and Brain Institute, a unit of Andhra Hospitals, Suryaraopet on December 8.

He further said that Dr Tukuro Suji of Japan will also visit the hospital to treat the patients and address the next workshop on December 13. Andhra Hospitals has launched a campaign called ‘Attack on Heart attacks’ to create awareness among the people about heart attacks and cardiac problems being faced by people.
