Vijayawada Music Academy is celebrating Sadguru Thyagarajaswamy’s Aradhana Sangeetothavam from January 4 to 8, at Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao Government Music and Dance College.
Vijayawada Music Academy is celebrating Sadguru Thyagarajaswamy’s Aradhana Sangeetothavam from January 4 to 8, at Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao Government Music and Dance College.
During these five days 57 Vocal concerts, four violin concerts, two veena, two flute presentations along with Guitar and Jalatarangini concerts are planned as performences by artistes from Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Kakinada, Rajahmundry, Tenali, Tirupati, Guntur, Nuzividu, Vuyyur, Hyderabad and Chennai.
Akondi Sreenivasa Rajarao, K Umavenkateswarlu, CVP Sastry, Vishnubhotla sisters, M Jalajaskhi, Popuri Gowrinath, Indira Kameswara Rao, Dr S Neeta Chandrasekhar, Mangalampalli Surya Deepti, Swathi Srikrishna, Malladi Suribabu, N Anuvratha, Nwmani Somayajulu, Prata Krishna Murhty, Ruddu Radhika, Komanduri Seshadri are some prominent artistes among the rest.
The Founder and General Secretary of the academy said that Pancharatna Brindaganam will be organised on January 8. He requested the music lovers to witness the concerts and enjoy the music bouquets during the five days.
