Maruti Wagon R VXi+ launched
The Maruti Wagon R has been setting the sales charts on fire since a long time. The automaker also introduced the Wagon R Stingray some years back but the car failed to take off. The Stingray is nothing but a regular Wagon R with enhanced exteriors and interiors while the engine remains the same.

Now, Maruti has added a new trim to the Wagon R family and it is the VXi+ trim. The Wagon R VXi+ is nothing but the Stingray which now gets the Wagon R name. The VXi+ trim gets 4 variations – VXi+, VXi+(O), VXi+ AGS, VXi+ (O) AGS. Dual front airbags and ABS with EBD are offered as optional fitment.
Talking about features, the car comes with projector headlamps, alloy wheels and side skirts. The interiors are similar as before but now come in a new dual tone scheme with piano finish on the panels. The VXi+ also gets premium seat fabric.
The vehicle will be offered with the same 1.0-litre K-Series petrol engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. An AMT gearbox will also be offered on the VXi+ trim. The 2017 Maruti Wagon R VXi+ is priced from Rs. 4.70-5.36 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
