Siddhartha Arts and Science College (SASC) principal Dr M Ramesh said that the students of SASC were awarded Silver Nandi for their skit ‘Controversy.’ The event was held in January and was organised by Andhra Pradesh state Nandi Natakothasvalu for college and university.

He said that the students of the college were guided by the cultural department and was written and directed by MS Chowdary. The skit ‘Controversy’ was awarded the Silver Nandi. The skit shows corruption in the society, Nepotism and its negative effects.

Director Vemuri Babu Rao, Cultural department convener K Manmadha Rao, members K Sivaranjani, Dr P Vijayaprakash congratulated the participants. Srivan Teja, Karthik, Swetha, Shashank and Jahnavi participated in the skit.
