5-day mega job mela from Dec 12
A five-day job mela will be held from December 12, on Nannaya University campus, under the aegis of Vikasa and Koushal Godavari. As many as 97 companies will participate in the mega job mela to give jobs to 9,080 unemployed youth.
Rajamahendravaram: A five-day job mela will be held from December 12, on Nannaya University campus, under the aegis of Vikasa and Koushal Godavari. As many as 97 companies will participate in the mega job mela to give jobs to 9,080 unemployed youth.
Disclosing the details to the media, Nannaya University vice-chancellor Prof Murru Mutyala Naidu said that the candidates in the age group of 18 to 30 years with SSC, Intermediate, degree, B Tech, ITI, diploma and post-graduation qualification are eligible to participate in the job mela.
On December 12, about 20 companies relating to Information Technology would participate in the job mela and select 1,800 candidates. On December 13, 19 companies relating to technical sector selects 1,700 candidates, on December 14, 19 pharma companies will select 1,850 candidates and on December 15, 19 companies of trainee and placement selects 2,380 candidates. On December 16, a special job mela for women and differently abled persons would be organised in which 20 various companies would participate and select 1,350 candidates.
Vikasa director V Narayana Rao said that the institution has so far generated thousands of jobs for the unemployed. Vikasa is a bridge between the companies and unemployed. He advised the candidates to bring Xerox copies of their certificates along with original certificates.
