Patriotic fervour prevails on R-Day
Political parties TDP, YSRCP and BJP hoisted the national flag at various places in the city as part of the 69th Republic Day celebrations on Friday.
Vijayawada: Political parties TDP, YSRCP and BJP hoisted the national flag at various places in the city as part of the 69th Republic Day celebrations on Friday.
The TDP Urban official representative, Navanitham Sambasiva Rao unfurled the Tricolour at Gandhinagar office. He advised youth to move forward with patriotism and drive away terrorism.
The YSRCP Krishna district regional coordinator, Peddireddy Ramchandra Reddy hoisted the national flag at the city party office. “The country attains real freedom when the downtrodden receive benefits guaranteed under the Constitution of India,” he said.
The BJP state secretary, Jammula Shyam Kishore hoisted the flag and said that under the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi and other freedom-fighters, India got Independence, which needs to be protected by all people.
