Guntur: Asta Avadhani Dr Medasani Krishna Mohan stressed on the need to protect mother tongue.
He addressed a meeting held at the Vignan Lara Engineering College at Vadlamudi in Guntur district on Wednesday on the occasion of Telugu Bhasha Dinotsavam.
Speaking on this occasion, he said that states protected mother tongue were developed and in the forefront in development.
He said it was responsibility of the youth to protect mother tongue.
He said that the British translated many Telugu works into other languages.
He said that concentration and hard work were needed to come up in the life and suggested the youth do hard work for success.
Later, he performed Asta Avadhanam and gave replies to the questions raised by the students.
Vignan's University Vice-Chancellor Dr MYS Prasad was also present.
