Jayasudha sticks to Congress

Soon after PCC president Botcha Satyanarayana announced the list of Congress candidates for the five MLC seats, Secunderabad MLA Jayasudha said that she was not resigning from the Congress party. Talking to the media, she said that she would continue to be a part of the Congress party, since the former GHMC mayor was not given the MLC seat. It may be recalled that Jayasudha had threatened to resign from the party if Banda Karthika Reddy was given the MLC seat. This had led to the speculation that she was contemplating to join YSRCP.
