tjac2 Hyderabad: An extended meeting of the Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) will be held on April 3 to chalk out the future course of action for its 'Sadak bandh-2' blocking the Vijayawada National Highway--and Chalo Assembly programmes, announced TJAC convener Prof. Kodandaram. Addressing mediapersons after a steering committee meeting at TNGOs Bhavan here on Saturday, he said the crucial April 3 meeting would announce the blueprint of the action plan. He condemned the arrest of 70 TRS and TJAC leaders for staging a protest during Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy's Nalgonda visit. He asserted that staging a protest was a democratic right of the people and that the arrests were undemocratic. Although the police resorted to the arrest, the government had to release us bowing to the political pressure intensified during the Assembly session, he claimed. However, he admitted that had the TJAC coordinated with others, the 'sadak bandh' would have been more successful. Those who attended the meeting included Deviprasad, Ravinder Reddy (TNGOs' Union), Srinivas Goud, Vithal (TNGOs), Dr Sravan (TRS Politburo), Rajeswar Rao (BJP), Rajender Reddy, Raghu, Hamid Md. Khan.
