jhsdgfhjsdgghsdgSays 'BC commitment' of Naidu is exposed Expressing anguish over denial of MLC ticket, TDP senior leader Dadi Veerabhadra Rao on Sunday said he was not happy the way he was treated in the party.Speaking to newsmen here, Rao said on the instruction of party he had made preparations to file nominations. Had he been informed earlier, he would have been ready for the worst. He felt insulted with the way he was treated by the party by denying him a chance at the last moment. Pointing out that the party President N Chandrababu Naidu announced to give 100 tickets to Backward Class (BC) communities in next Assembly elections, he asked Naidu on what grounds he, as a BC leader, was not given opportunity for second term. The sincerity of the party in implementing its promise to give more seats to BCs and also the BC declaration was exposed in the selection of candidates, he remarked. Congratulating the party senior leader Y Ramakrishnudu for being selected , he said the former minister was his close friend and he was not opposing his selection. He alleged that some industrialists influenced Naidu and lobbied strongly in support of others who were in race for MLC posts. He was not rich to buy tickets, but served the TDP from its inception in 1982. Stating that his supporters were also disappointed over the developments he said, he will continue to serve the party in whatever capacity he was assigned by party chief. Rao said , as the opposition leader in the Legislative Council, he successfully raised anti- people policies in the House and cornered the government on several occasions.
