asad1 Hyderabad: Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul Muslimeen (MIM) members abstained from the State Legislative Assembly, both for discussion and voting on the no-confidence motion on Friday. MIM party MLAs who were a part of the proceedings when the House assembled on Friday, were conspicuous by their absence after the first adjournment. MIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi said that the no-confidence motion was a futile exercise. Talking to mediapersons at the party office, he said that the no-confidence motion would not give any results as it lacked the support of the main opposition party. Such a half-hearted attempt would not lend any additional strength to the opposition parties as well, he added. Taking the common man's side, he said that the public were facing a hard time due to power crisis, water scarcity and hike in RTC charges in the State. He condemned the security lapses due to which the Dilshuknagar twin blasts occurred and said that people were waiting for their turn to get justice.
