Four child kidnaps shock the state

Hyderabad: Two school going kids were brutally killed by their kidnappers in the last couple of days, while the fate of two more kids including an infant is yet to be known. On the whole, entire state is shocked with the news of child kidnaps.

The parents of six-year-old Shreya collapsed in sorrow after the news of their child's brutal murder came to light. The girl was kidnapped by miscreants on Wednesday morning while she was playing in front of the house in Teacher's Colony of Mahbubnagar town. Her parents were away from home when the incident took place.

The girl's parents Nagaraju and Rajitha approached the police which turned out fatal for the girl. Though the parents accepted to pay a ransom of Rs 10 lakh as demanded by the kidnappers for the release of their girl, they brutally killed the girl, stuffed the body in a plastic bag and dumped near Polkampally village in Addakula Mandal in the district.

Investigations revealed that the girl was kidnapped by data entry operator Yakub and two others. Yakub worked for Nagaraju at his data entry center. While Yakub and Naseem had been taken into custody, another accused Ameer is yet to be held. In another case, five-year-old K Nageswar Rao of Pondugala village in Dachepally Mandal of Guntur district was found dead five kilometers away from his school on Friday. He went missing from his school on Wednesday.

The boy's parents Saravaiah and Mary lodged a complaint with the police but to no use. Locals found the body of a boy on the banks of Krishna River and informed the police.A The boy was later identified as Nageswar Rao. Police found injury marks on the boy's body and registered a case of suspicious death. The boy's parents alleged that it looks like some persons forcibly took him to an isolated place five kilometeres away and killed the boy.

In yet another incident a week ago, a new born baby was whisked away allegedly by an unidentified woman from Narasaraopet Government Hospital.The new born baby girl's mother Saramma told police that an unidentified woman approached her on the pretext of taking care of the girl while she went to address a nature's call. By the time she returned, the woman disappeared along with the baby.

Saramma lodged a complaint with the police. In yet another incident, four-year-old Santosh was kidnapped from RB Nagar area of Shamshabad on Wednesday when he was playing in front of his school. Police said two motorcycle borne miscreants whisked the boy away and police has not been able to locate the boy so far.
