Hyderabad : The Telangana NRI Forum (TeNF) unveiled the statue of Telangana Thalli in London, claimed to be the first of its kind outside the Telangana region, on Sunday.
According to a press note, the TeNF founders Gampa Venugopal and Anil Kurmachalam unveiled the statue and Rangula Sudhakar presided over the function. A Addressing the meeting, Venugopal expressed the hope that the unveiling of the Telangana Thalli statue would unite NRIs from the region.
Anil Kurmachalam opined that it would instill the spirit of ongoing movement for separate Telangana. Later, the first anniversary TeNF was celebrated with enthusiasm and gaiety. A cake was cut under the guidance of Pavitra Reddy and Archana. S Chandu Goud explained the activities of the Forum in the last one year. He thanked the TJAC Chairman M Kodanda Ram for extending support to their efforts.
