visaHyderabad: In a further boost to tourism sector in the state, the Union Government has announced that foreign tourists will be extended "Visa on arrival" facility at Hyderabad, the moment they land at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad. Hyderabad is added to the list of airports in six other cities along with the four metros to have this facility, according to K Chiranjeevi, Union Minister of state for Tourism. Interacting with media on the sidelines of UNWTO conference. Taleb Rifai, Secretary General UNWTO has disclosed that the Board of Delegates of 21 countries, has decided to ease Visa norms and remove the stumbling blocks for the growth of tourism sector across the globe. "Issuance of visa, taxation on tourism and connectivity are the three main areas that Board has decided to focus on," Taleb explained.
