Hyderabad: Leaders of the Seemandhra Employees Forum of Secretariat and voiced their protests on Monday in Secretariat over state division and greeted the convoy of Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, who was returning to his office after 12 days, with placards and slogans - ‘Vibhajana Vaddu’ and ‘Samaikyandhra Muddu’.

Minister for Finance Anam Ramnarayana Reddy, Minister for Agriculture N Raghuveera Reddy and Minister for Social Welfare Pithani Satyanarayana also faced similar experience at the Secretariat. At one stage, the agitating employees’ gheraoed Anam, Pithani and Raghuveera for fifteen minutes in ‘H’ Block demanding their resignations. To prove the point that ther5e is blind rule, they tied black ribbons over their eyes and enacted blind men in protest against the state division.


They insisted the Ministers, who came to the block to participate in Group of Ministers meeting, to resign to their posts immediately. Anam said that they had not resigned because they wanted to participate in the discussion in AP Legislative decision opposing the decision. Seemandhra Employees Forum of Secretariat leaders Krishnamohan and Appa Rao and APNGO leaders P Chandrasekhar Reddy led the stir. The Secretariat reverberated with the slogans of Seemandhra employees for an hour. Muralikrishna said demanded the Centre not to divide the State for the sake of the people of Andhra Pradesh.
