Seemandhra MPs' resignations not accepted by Speaker

Even as the Samaikyandhra heat is cooling off, there's another big blow for the Seemandhra people who had pinned their hopes on the union ministers who had resigned to oppose Centre's decision to divide the state.

It is learnt that Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar has rejected the resignation letters of all the 13 MPs from various political parties from the Seemandhra region.

Of the 13 MPs, two were from YSR Congress Party, one from TDP and 10 from Congress.
