T Lok Satta Asks Parties to Back BJP, Telangana Lok Satta Party, Congress Party. The Telangana Lok Satta Party on Tuesday called upon the regional parties to support the BJP-led NDA so that a strong government could be formed at the Centre.
The Telangana Lok Satta Party on Tuesday called upon the regional parties to support the BJP-led NDA so that a strong government could be formed at the Centre. In a statement, party president K Dharma Reddy said that the youth were looking for a leader and a party that could provide strong government and were in favour of BJP over Congress party.
He said several surveys had revealed that 47 per cent of voters had favoured BJP as against 33 per cent favouring the Congress party. However, he felt that though 47 per cent voters were favouring BJP, those who were looking at a more youthful personality may rally behind Rahul Gandhi as they were unhappy with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh during whose tenure they had to face several problems like price rise, scams and steep rise in corruption.
