Flood Victims to Be Paid Compensation, Peddadevulapalli in Tripuraram, MP Gutta Sukhender Reddy. The reservoir at Peddadevulapalli in Tripuraram mandal in the district was breached by the flood water on Saturday and the villages in the low-lying areas were inundated. Several crops over a vast stretch of land were destroyed and many cattle perished in the rains.

District Collector Chiranjeevi and Revenue Divisional Officer visited the villages and assured the people that they would be paid adequate compensation. Local MP Gutta Sukhender Reddy and MLA Ranga Reddy also paid a visit to the affected villages and assured the villagers that the government would pay them adequate compensation.
They said that the affected people would be paid Rs 4,000 per acre, Rs 35,000 for a house collapsed, and Rs 15,000 for a house partially damaged in the rains.
