With the identification of four more bodies, the authorities have so far cleared 38 out of 45 victims, who died in the tragic bus fire mishap, in Mahabubnagar district on October 30.
The Andhra Pradesh State Forensic Science Laboratory (APSFSL) which collected the DNA samples from 84 relatives of the victims, gave its first report on November 4, establishing the identity of 19 victims.
Another 15 victims were identified on Tuesday, while four more victims were identified on Wednesday. The victims were identified as Rajesh, Ajay Chowhan, Sonu Kumar and Vipin Kumar. The body of Rajesh has been handed over to his relatives.
The identity of four more victims was yet to be ascertained. The DNA tests were necessitated as the bodies were charred beyond recognition. To avoid any future complications and prevent false claims, the DNA tests were performed.
