YSR Congress party President YS Jaganmohan Reddy on Friday announced that he would take up a nation-wide tour from November 16 to 26 to garner support for his crusade against the bifurcation of the State from the leaders of various States.

Addressing the media here, he said that he would apprise the leaders of various States of the present vote-bank politics of UPAled Union Government.
Jagan said he would visit Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh and New Delhi and meet all important leaders including BJP and Left party leaders to seek their intervention against the Centre’s ‘unilateral’ decision to bifurcate the State. He also said that he would launch Samaikyandhra yatra in Seemandhra districts from November 26. Strongly opposing the Centre’s proposal to create joint water boards and councils for Telangana and the residuary state to resolve river water issue, Jagan said there were a spate of reports that the Centre was mulling on constituting water boards with the Chief Ministers and the bureaucrats of the two States as members in the boards.
