Hyderabad: Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) operated by GMR Group in the city has been chosen as the ‘Best Cargo Airport of the Year’ at the recent 40th Annual Convention of Air Cargo Agents Association of India (ACAAI) held in Jaipur. This is the second year in a row that RGIA has won the accolade for its cargo operations and the honour re-affirms RGIA’s commitment to the industry and trade community by providing them with best-in-class Infrastructure and services.
“We are delighted to be recognised by a prestigious industry body such as ACAAI which represents India’s air cargo industry. Winning this award for the second consecutive year demonstrates our commitment in service excellence to our customers and stakeholders. This award is a welcome boost for us in our endeavours to establish RGIA as a logistics hub of India,” said SGK Kishore, Chief Executive Officer, GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd (GHIAL), a part of GMR Group that owns and operates the airport.
