Only ‘Sampoorna T’ acceptable: Kodandaram, Telangana Joint Action Committee. Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) chairman M Kodandaram declared on Monday that nothing short of a ‘Sampoorna Telangana’, with ten districts and Hyderabad, would be acceptable to the people.
Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) chairman M Kodandaram declared on Monday that nothing short of a ‘Sampoorna Telangana’, with ten districts and Hyderabad, would be acceptable to the people.
He wanted parties, attending the all-party meetings in Delhi on Tuesday to put forth this demand. Kodandaram was addressing the ‘Samarabheri’, jointly organised at Kalwakurthy by the Osmania Students JAC and Telangana Vidyarthi Parishad.
The TJAC chairman also called upon the Telanganites to stall Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy’s ‘Rachabanda’ programme.
He wanted them to question Reddy how he could attend such programme, after declaring that no funds would be released to the region. Kodandaram asserted that there should be no Seemandhra control over Telangana and that taxes collected from a region should be spent only for its development. He added that only those Seemandhra people willing to stay in Hyderabad should remain and others unwilling were free to leave.
Kodandaram quipped that Kiran Reddy was the Chief Minister only for 13 Seemandhra districts, and not Telangana. Jupalli Krishna Rao, TRS legislator; T Achari, BJP State general secretary; leaders of student organisations and many students attended the ‘Samarabheri’.
