CM Kiran's exit talks refuse to die down, The unexpected decision of Andhra Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy to postpone his meeting with the Group of Ministers on Telangana

The unexpected decision of Andhra Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy to postpone his meeting with the Group of Ministers on Telangana, which was scheduled for Thursday night, has created a flicker in political parties.

A political buzz created chaos yesterday that the CM is about to resign and the High Command is looking at the next best replacement. Sources say that Kanna Laxminarayana is the first in race.

There was an open statement by the minister yesterday that he is not very keen on becoming the chief minister, but if there is an opportunity given he is ready to serve. The news has set the political parties talking.
Though, the CM told the media at Ravindra Bharathi on Thursday that he had postponed the GoM meeting because he had to be present at the inaugural ceremony of the International Children's Film Festival on Thursday evening, and will be attending the GoM meeting on November 18 many say it's just an excuse. Asked about his resignation, the Chief Minister laughed out loud and moved on.
In order to avoid further speculations about his rescheduling the GoM meeting, the Chief Minister’s Office took the vague step by pasting a press release explaining the reason.
The big question is that if the Chief Minister was keen on attending the national film fare in the city on Thursday, why did he not inform the Union home minister about the same when the meet was scheduled?
