Telangana JAC has decided to embark on New Delhi tour in the first week of December with an aim to garner support of various national and regional parties for smooth passage of Telangana Bill in the parliament. In this regard, TJAC steering committee held a meeting here on Friday and decided that TJAC chairman Kodandaram and other key members of the JAC steering committee would camp in New Delhi for 10 days.

Later briefing mediamen, Kodandaram said that they would meet leaders of various regional and national parties and urge them to extend their unequivocal support to the Telangana cause. He also flayed statements made by Telugu Desam Party and YSR Congress Party leaders that the State was being bifurcated sans any scientific study. “These parties should retrospect their stand instead of playing spoilsport,” he said.

Meanwhile, JAC co-chairman Mallepalli Lakshmaiah was highly critical of the Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy for propagating the united AP cause in government meetings. “Kiran Reddy is belittling CM post with his strange behaviour,” he noted.
