Seema Congress Leaders Look For Sonia's Appointment. It is learnt that Rayalaseema Congress leaders have sought the appointment of Sonia Gandhi to put forward their version on the issue of state bifurcation.
New Delhi: It is learnt that Rayalaseema Congress leaders have sought the appointment of Sonia Gandhi to put forward their version on the issue of state bifurcation.
In case the state bifurcation is inevitable, it is likely that they will request for RayalaTelangana (Telangana including two districts of Rayalaseema). According to sources, to discuss on this issue, a meeting at Sai Pratap’s residence was convened for Kurnool and Anantapur congress leaders.
Top leaders from these two districts attended this meeting. Prominent leaders among those attended are the Union Minister Kotla Suryaprakash Reddy, Raguveera Reddy, Ananta Venkatrami Reddy, TG Venkatesh and Erasu Pratap Reddy. It is worth mentioning here that JC Diwakar Reddy has been open on this issue for quite sometime.
