Hyderabad: The congress party senior MLA and former minister in the state cabinet, JC Diwakar Reddy on Saturday said Andhra Pradesh state bifurcation is against the spirit of the Constitution of Republic of India.

He said based on the instructions of the UPA Chairperson, Sonia Gandhi, the bifurcation process is going on. He said the only person who takes the decision on the status of Hyderabad is Sonia Gandhi. He said it is not possible to rule Seemandhra from Hyderabad, after bifurcation.

He opined there will be hardly any use by making Hyderabad, the joint capital of both the states. He said after bifurcation, there will be a need of paying tax to Telangana government by the Seemandhra officials and politicians. He further said that he sought appointment of Sonia Gandhi to discuss on the matter of Rayalatelangana.
