Cong will soon form T: Geetha Reddy

Zaheerabad: The Congress has the distinction of providing 50 per cent reservation for women in local bodies, Minister for Heavy Industries Dr J Geetha Reddy said here on Sunday. Addressing the Rachabanda-III programme, the Minister said that the persons who were allotted houses should construct them immeadiatly. "The Congress aimed at providing houses for everyone," she added. The Minister assured that the Congress would fulfil all its promises made during the last elections.

Asserting that it was Congress which would bring Telangana under the leadership of UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, she said the Telangana would be formed at any cost. Rebutting the criticism by a section of leaders holding her responsible for the bad condition of National Highways, she reminded them that she was only a State Minister and has nothing to do with the National Highways.

"Inspite of this, initiative has been taken to hold talks with National Highway officilas in the presence of the Chief Minsiter on the subject," she said. DCCB Chairman Jaipal Reddy, Zaheerabad Mandal President Srinivas Reddy, Muncipal Vice-Chairman Md Khaza, Sangareddy RDO Dharma Rao, Municipal Commissioner Vikramsimha Reddy, Tahsildar Naveen and others participated.
